Workshop Instructor

Guide active design and building workshops for young people. Student-centered learning includes art, enginering and technology disciplines. Students develop project ideas and source building materials in a vast warehouse of supplies and tools. 

Support students with idea generation and tool use, as needed.  Manage groups of students providing indivdual support and setting positive tone within the group.  Set up work area and support students cleaning the workspace after each session.

Curiosity about, and interest in, working with young people to help them develop technical and personal skills is required. 

References and background check required.

Experience making, crafting or building things is preferred.
