Secondary for THR 327 Seminar in Advanced Acting
I. WLS Level: 4
II. Description Of Duties For This Position:
- Maintain a supportive, accepting, empowering learning environment for Theatre students enrolled in the class.
- Maintain student-student confidentiality.
- Monitor Theatre students while in the classroom and in scheduled rehearsal sessions.
- Lead warm-up exercises prior to class instruction.
- Offer feedback and guidance to students when rehearsing the Open Scenes and the Cherry Orchard Scenes.
- Offer feedback and guidance for mid-term and final monologues.
- Establish “office” hours outside of class for students
- Read over essays (in Script Analysis) and offer feedback to the Instructor prior to grading.
- Maintain and monitor the sign-up sheet for all classes.
- Help conduct any study sessions outside the class.
- Help maintain and organize the acting studio furniture and props.
- Other duties as assigned by the Theatre Professor

IV. Qualifications Needed For This Position:
- Have completed the course in which you are a TA with a grade of B or higher.
- Leadership skills within classroom setting.
- Demonstration of competent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently/be self-motivated.
- Ability to lift 25lbs or more.
- No documented instances of breach of confidentiality.
