Interior Designer Intern
Job description
We are seeking an Interior Designer Intern who is passionate about residential architecture and modern design to join our team in our Gowanus studio.
Millward Architecture + Design is a small firm making a big impact on peoples’ everyday lives. Our approach is grounded in curiosity and informed by empathy. We’re looking for top talent for our growing team. Here you’ll touch dozens of projects and actually see your work built. You’ll push your curiosity and your craft, while working closely with clients to inspire transformation.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in FF&E procurement
- Assist in updating the material library
- Assist in scheduling product vendors
- Material and furniture research
- Assist the principals in generating conceptual designs, 3D models and rendering
- Assist in social media content generation
Qualifications:
- Currently attending or recently graduated from an accredited interior design school
- Proficient in Google Suite applications
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Sketchup
- You are resourceful, have the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects and keep them organized
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn!
- Possess all legal permits and visas required to work in the U.S.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Currently lives in the New York City area; this is an in-person position.
