Job Description

Position Overview: ProMazo is seeking talented and driven student Software Developers to join our team for an exciting project with a top worldwide cosmetics company (a globally recognized brand). This unique opportunity involves building a Product Portfolio Engagement Platform for their leadership and analytics teams.

This tool will serve as a complex decision-making engine. It will allow users (including Executives, Admins, and Scientists) to upload branch data, apply specific market constraints (such as growth trends and innovation mixes), and run algorithmic scenarios to optimize for goals like "Maximize Revenue" or "Maximize Margin." The platform will feature interactive "Algorithmic Tables" for viewing 1-year and 5-year forecasts, constraint management systems, and detailed user role visualizations.

 

This is a paid position requiring a commitment of 30-40 hours per week. The project has an immediate start date and will run for 3-4 months, with the potential for extension based on performance.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with a team of students to design, build, and deploy a professional-grade MVP product.
  • Develop a web-based Portfolio Engagement Platform featuring:
  • Scenario Planning: Functionality to run optimization strategies (e.g., Target Revenue vs. Maximize Margin).
  • Data Visualization: Interactive "Algorithmic Tables" displaying current vs. expected revenue, margins, and contributions across various regions and brands.
  • Constraint Management: Interfaces for users to set and edit limiters on growth trends and contribution percentages.
  • Role-Based Access: Secure sign-on and dashboards tailored for Executives, Admins, and Scientists.
  • Participate in daily working sessions within a SCRUM and Agile framework.
  • Showcase progress to our client's leadership team through regular presentations.

 

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Azure, Node.js, and React.
  • Demonstrated experience building and deploying professional, academic, or personal software projects.
  • Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile frameworks (nice to have).

Eligibility Criteria:

Must have full-stack development skills. However, we will consider individuals who are very experienced with frontend and/or backend.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Availability to work 30-40 hours per week immediately.

Compensation:

$20 - $30 per hour
