FIFA Host Broadcast (HB) Intern Programme will offer media industry relevant internship opportunities to university students in the host cities of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026™.
What is your role? Gathering 360° VR content from the 16 venues of the FIFA World Cup 2026™according to the guidelines. This content is post-produced for use by Media Right Licensees (MRLs) around the world. It can be viewed in a VR headset or on a tablet/mobile phone. You will be working closely with the production and venue staff.
What are your responsibilities?
- Capture 360° content on Matchdays including Team arrivals, Dressing rooms, Tunnel activity, Fans in tribune, Whistle to whistle on-field content including goal celebrations etc.
- Ingest content, via laptop, at the venue media compound and export to the Digital team at the IBC.
- Send end of match email detailing best clips, obstacles faced on-site, etc.
Where will you be located? Levi's Stadium - San Francisco Bay, CA, USA
Whom will you work with? Production Manager – Digital based at the IBC in Dallas
Required availability: June-July 2026
Training/onboarding: General briefing + a specific training session. Site visits: You will have time to learn how to manipulate the cameras on those first days.
Your background: Audio-Visual Studies, Digital Media, TV Production, Multimedia
Skills needed for this role:
- Technology enthusiast (smartphones, tablets, virtual reality, etc.)
- Social Media Content Creation/Editing
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop)
- Teamwork
- Work in high pressure environment
- Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
