Art Center Director
The Emerald Empire Art Association (EEAA), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that oversees the Emerald Art Center (EAC), is seeking a part-time Art Center Director to manage the daily operation of the Art Center, located at 500 Main Street in Springfield, Oregon.
Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic advocate for the arts through community involvement, fundraising, marketing and communications, exhibitions, and events management. Skills needed include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Business knowledge, with an understanding of accounting and managing a budget.
- Experience working in the arts.
- Proficiency in utilizing computer programs and platforms, but not limited to use of:
- Google Drive/Google Docs, InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, Mailchimp, Facebook, Instagram, Wix, Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Management experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the Emerald Art Center Director will have administrative and supervisory responsibilities of the Art Center personnel and volunteers.
Position Details:
- Part-time position, 10:45 am - 4:15 pm, Tuesday - Saturday; and up to 4 additional hours per month for special events.
- Starting Salary is $25 per hour
- Paid time off
- Work location: In person
- Projected Hire date is December 2, 2025
