Brand Ambassador – Botanical Beverages & Astrology-Inspired Mocktails

About the Role:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and plant-loving Brand Ambassador to join us for our upcoming holiday markets throughout Rhode Island!

📅 Event Dates & Times:

  • Sunday, November 30th – 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Saturday, December 6th – 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Sunday, December 7th – 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM

As a representative of Tea for Torie, you’ll help educate customers about our herbal mocktails: botanical, alcohol-free drinks infused with functional herbs and astrological inspiration. These aren’t just “mocktails” they’re mood-elevating elixirs designed to make people feel good while learning something new.

If you love connecting with people, nerding out about plants, herbs, and astrology, or simply sharing what you learn about functional botanicals, this role is perfect for you. Whether you already have some herbal or wellness knowledge, or you’re simply curious and eager to train, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

You’ll be the friendly face that helps customers discover the world of herbal mixology, astrology, and mindful drinking!


What You’ll Do:

  • Represent Tea for Torie at holiday markets (with opportunities to work future events like the Newport Folk Festival and corporate pop-ups).
  • Engage customers with product knowledge (training provided).
  • Offer samples and share the story behind each mocktail blend.
  • Manage point-of-sale transactions through Square.
  • Set up and break down event displays (light lifting required).
  • Embody our mission of mindfulness, wellness, and vibrant living.

You’d Be Great For This If You:

  • Have strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Are dependable and organized with attention to detail.
  • Have reliable transportation to events in Rhode Island.

Compensation & Perks:

  • $15–$20/hour depending on experience.

  • Experience with botanical knowledge, sales, marketing, and event promotion, perfect for anyone interested in wellness, herbalism, or brand marketing.

 Training:

All brand ambassadors are required to complete a short online onboarding session and attend one in-person training date for hands-on learning and observation.

Please choose one of the following training options:

  • Saturday, November 22nd (daytime)
  • Friday, November 28th (evening, during the Night Market)
  • Saturday, November 29th (daytime observation & training)
