Summer Ministry Internship (2026)
The Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) at Peninsula Bible Church is a nine-week paid internship designed to give college students training and experience in doing ministry in a church context. Interns will work closely with and learn from the pastoral staff at PBC while actively participating in various ministries of the church.
Each intern will be assigned to a specific ministry (e.g. children’s, middle school, high school, college, worship, AVL production, Recovery). Responsibilities will vary depending on the ministry and the intern.
Possible responsibilities include: preparing and teaching lessons, planning ministry activities and events, mentoring students and participating in retreats and camps, developing church programs.
In addition to these responsibilities, interns will attend a weekly ministry training class, meet weekly with a mentor, and may participate in informal social activities. You will be working closely with fellow interns engaging in team meetings and social events.

- Dates: June 8, 2026 - August 9, 2026
- Hours: Full time (40 hrs/week)
- Hourly rate: $19.00
- College grade levels: Entering freshman (Fall of 2026) through graduating seniors (Spring of 2026)
- Majors: Open to all majors, but special preference may be given to interns desiring to serve in church ministry.
