Job Summary

Axess Multimedia is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished, engaging content for various platforms, as well as communicating with team members and clients on timelines, projects, and other key information.  This role requires proficiency in modern editing software and the ability to work collaboratively to bring our creative vision to life.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and edit raw footage into compelling narratives and visually stunning final products.

Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, and effects to enhance video content.

Perform color correction, color grading, and audio mixing to ensure high-quality output.

Create and add motion graphics, lower thirds, and other on-screen text and animations.

Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project goals and ensure brand consistency.

Manage and organize video files, projects, and related assets efficiently.

Prepare and export video files in various formats for different platforms.

Review and implement feedback from team members in a timely manner.

Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and industry trends.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing your work.

Proficiency in professional video editing software.

Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects software.

Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings.

Excellent sense of timing, pacing, and narrative structure.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience shooting video and/or photos with DSLR or mirrorless cameras is a plus.

Experience in sound design and advanced audio editing.

Experience creating short-form video content for social media platforms.

Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and software.
