Content Production Intern
The Content Production Intern plays a key role in helping Fairmount Center for the Arts tell its story. This role focuses primarily on capturing high-quality photography, with videography skills considered a plus, and occasional written content. The intern will also create engaging content for social media platforms, helping to expand the organization’s online presence. This position offers hands-on experience producing compelling content that supports marketing, communications, and engagement efforts.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Capture and edit photos of events, programs, classes, and behind-the-scenes activities.
- Occasionally write or contribute to short articles, social media posts, or newsletters.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Community Relations and Creative Marketing Associate to plan content and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain an organized content library of photography, video, and written content.
- Help manage and keep a well-organized content calendar to support strategic content planning and execution.
- Assist with videography projects, including filming and basic editing (preferred, but not required).
Commitment
• The minimum time commitment is at least 3-4 months with approximately 5-10 hours per week.
Minimum Requirements
• Completed two years of college/university undergraduate work in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field OR two years of related work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficient using Google Suite and social media platforms to include, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, etc.
• Interest in photography, videography, social media, marketing, communications, or nonprofit work.
• Basic knowledge of photography and/or video equipment; editing skills a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Flexibility to attend on-site events and classes (remote work may be possible for certain tasks).

Compensation: This internship offers a flexible, hybrid schedule with an office based in Novelty and/or Chardon, Ohio. The starting pay is $15 per hour.
