Full Stack SWE Intern

 Join us as a Software Engineering Intern. The product is already prototyped and running with beta users; you’ll contribute to polishing features and improving performance and security.

What you’ll do

  • Turn beta-tester feedback into actionable fixes and small features.
  • Build and integrate new UI components and backend endpoints.
  • Profile and improve performance; help tighten basic security practices.
  • Squash bugs, write lightweight tests, and document what you ship.

What we’re looking for

  • Coursework or project experience with JavaScript, React, and basic web dev.
  • Familiarity with a Node.js/Express (or similar) backend and REST/JSON.
  • Comfort reading an existing codebase and iterating based on user feedback.
  • Understanding of fundamentals: state management, async patterns, HTTP, and git.
     

Nice to have

  • DB experience (e.g., Postgres) and auth/session patterns.
  • Interest in education technology and (especially) AI applications.
  • Experience writing unit/integration tests.
     

Internship details

  • Timing: 10–30 hrs/week (flexible)
  • Remote-first; US required.
