Non-CS STEM Generalists

Role Overview

Collaborating with a leading AI lab to engage detail-oriented digital natives for a short-term project with an opportunity for a long-term extension. Contractors will support AI training workflows by working directly within a Gmail client. This project is well-suited for individuals with strong digital literacy STEM / technical undergraduates, master’s students, digitally skilled professionals and other generalists interested in practical exposure to AI systems. Light familiarity with JSON is helpful but not required.

You are a good fit if you:

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes

Comfort working with digital tools and interfaces such as Gmail (digital native profile)

Familiarity with JSON or structured data formats preferred

Background in STEM / technical disciplines (undergraduate or master’s students encouraged) or digitally skilled professionals including freelancers encouraged

Generalist mindset with adaptability to evolving workflows

About the role

The work is fully remote and can be done around your schedule

You must be able to commit around 20 hours per week for this role

This contract is expected to last a couple weeks with opportunity of expansion into several months, including promotion opportunities within the project

Successful contributions increase the odds that you are selected on future projects .

Pay and legal status

This role will pay at least $50/hr (USD), and more depending on your background and experience

We will pay you out weekly via Stripe Connect based on the number of hours you log

You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor .
