What You’ll Do
Lead or assist group piano classes (ages 4–15, and occasional adult lessons)
Teach fundamentals like sight-reading, rhythm, technique, and music theory
Create an encouraging classroom environment where musicians feel supported
Help students prepare for performances and studio events
Model and teach character traits such as perseverance, courage, and growth mindset
What We’re Looking For
Current college student (music, education, or related fields preferred)
Proficient piano player (comfortable with both treble and bass clef)
Energetic and positive—enjoy working with kids and building relationships
Willingness to learn our teaching methods and grow as a musician yourself
Strong communication and leadership skills
Hours & Pay
Part-time, primarily weekday afternoons/evenings
Starting pay: $20–$25/hour, with opportunities to grow into lead teacher roles
