Creative Assistant

Location: San Leandro

Type: 10-16 hours/week

Pay: $20-30/hour

About the Role

Concreteworks and Manos by Concreteworks is seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic and visually sophisticated Creative Assistant to support our Creative/Marketing team in organizing and creating compelling visual content across multiple platforms. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a design background, strong organizational skills, and a curiosity about the intersection of craft and design.

Responsibilities

You’ll assist with a range of tasks to support our marketing and creative output, including:
 

• Maintaining and organizing our digital media library on our private server + Dropbox.
• Sourcing imagery for social media, marketing materials, and publications—including basic photography and generative AI content.
• Assisting in the creation of posts and stories for Instagram and LinkedIn, and ads as necessary.
• Basic photo editing and retouching as directed.
• Supporting e-commerce content development (e.g., uploading images, formatting product visuals).
• Updating and creating graphic sales collateral - product data sheets, instruction manuals, etc.
• Researching vendors, pricing, and other details for creative and marketing projects.
• Manage inventory.
   

Qualifications

• Holding or in pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a creative field (graphic design, photography, marketing, industrial design, art, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong visual sensibility
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Indesign at a minimum)
• Photography and styling skills
• Experience with social media content creation, especially Instagram and LinkedIn
• Organized, resourceful, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have

Experience with Hubspot or other CRMs

Interest in architecture, interior design, and industrial design

Compensation

Pay is hourly and commensurate with level of experience. There is the possibility for this to lead to a full time position.
