Civil Engineering Corps

The Civil Engineering Corps (CEC) program is designed for college students and young professionals to stay in school while earning 6-7K/month while still in school, with a guaranteed and secure job in the Civil Engineering Corps Navy offered to you upon graduation with starting salary at 80-90k/year, with year bonuses and biyearly promotions around 10K.

This program is designed to secure top talent while you are still in school, not many other companies or organizations provide such a competitive salary while you are still in school.

Naval Officers in the Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) provide professional engineering and architecture services to plan, construct, deliver, and manage all Navy and Marine Corps’ shore installation facilities worldwide. CEC officers come from a variety of engineering and architecture disciplines and routinely develop their leadership and soft skills alongside their technical skills – all without going on a ship.

Some of responsibilities you will have as a Civil Engineering Corps officer include:

Leading a group of men/women called Seabees on construction projects: 

If you are interested, here is what you need to have!

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • In pursuit or possession of any ABET-EAC or ABET-ETAC accredited engineering degree, any NAAB-accredited architecture degree, or any pre-professional architecture degree
  • 2.70 GPA or higher
  • 36 or fewer months away from graduating or have already graduated
