MillerKnoll’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, 12-week opportunity that provides a 100% real-world experience for students early in their careers. Throughout the summer you will apply academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Creative Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience with showroom design and installation in a collaborative and innovative environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about interior design, architecture, luxury products and entrepreneurial thinking.

- Assist with detailed AutoCAD drawings for showroom installations, including architectural plans, floor plans, elevations, lighting layouts, art placement, rug plans, and artistic renderings.
- Support the Creative team with graphic design projects and visual materials.
- Assist with special projects, such as photoshoots, showroom refreshes, and event preparations.
- Maintain the organization of fabrics, samples, and design libraries.
- Help oversee the upkeep of the Creative Department’s design space.
- Gain cross-departmental exposure, collaborating with teams such as Marketing, Design, Textiles, and Showrooms.
What You Bring
The needed skills and experience for this role include...
- Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Education
- Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, or a related field
- You must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (overall or within your program) to qualify for consideration in the Intern Program
