Photographer / Tech Team – Camp Timberlake for Boys
 

Camp Timberlake for Boys is a Christian summer camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Marion, NC. Each summer, we hire a team of talented, creative individuals to capture the energy and excitement of camp through photography and media.

 

Job Overview

Photographer/Tech Team members spend their days out in the action — taking hundreds of photos of campers in activities, evening tribal games, and special events. These images are edited and uploaded daily to keep parents connected to their child’s experience. In addition to photography, the team contributes to camp’s social media, blog, website, and staff videos

Responsibilities

  • Photograph camp life daily (activities, events, candid moments).
  • Edit and upload photos each day to share with parents.
  • Support camp’s social media channels with photos and stories.
  • Contribute to blog posts, website updates, and staff media projects.
  • Collaborate with a small creative team of aspiring professionals.

 

Skills & Development

  • Gain hands-on experience taking and editing hundreds of photos per day.
  • Build technical skills in photography, editing, and digital media.
  • Develop soft skills: teamwork, communication, time management, and adaptability.
  • Internship credit available (while still being paid).

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Dates: May 26 – August 7, 2026
  • Paid position (salary based on experience).
  • Room, board, and laundry included.
  • One day and one evening off each week.
  • Eligible for internship credit with many majors/programs.
