Internship Opportunity – PubKey Media & Events
PubKey is more than just a bar in the West Village, we’re a Bitcoin-native media house, events platform, and cultural hub. Each week, our stage hosts everything from grassroots community gatherings to high-profile conversations with global leaders. At the same time, our team produces content that reaches audiences worldwide, blending the immediacy of in-person events with the reach of digital media. With expansion on the horizon, this is an exciting moment to join the ride.
We’re looking for a college student who wants to jump into the wild world of PubKey: part bar, part media house, part Bitcoin embassy. This isn’t a coffee-run internship (unless we’re talking Irish coffee). Think more: get tossed into real projects, wear too many hats, and help us keep the ship sailing straight.
What you’ll do
- Provide operational support on projects across our media and events work
- Handle day-to-day organizational tasks (scheduling, research, data entry, document prep)
- Assist with ad hoc needs as they come up, from prepping events to supporting ongoing initiatives
- Shadow the team on special projects and get exposure to the day-to-day chaos of a fast-moving startup
What we’re looking for
- Current college student (junior or senior preferred) in NYC
- Interest in Bitcoin, technology, and culture (no prior experience required)
- Hungry, flexible, and curious — comfortable wearing multiple hats
- Not afraid of ambiguity, spreadsheets, or occasionally moving furniture
- In search of the right person first and foremost
Details
- Part-time (flexible schedule around classes)
- In-person role, based in the West Village
Why join?
This isn’t a coffee-run internship (unless we’re talking Irish coffee). You’ll gain a front-row seat to how media and events are built inside a fast-growing startup environment, with the chance to learn directly from the team and help shape what we do next.
