CentriKid Camps – Actor (Summer Staff)

About CentriKid
CentriKid is a Christian summer camp for 2nd–6th graders where every moment—from Bible study to worship to track times—is intentionally designed to point kids to Jesus. Our staff team serves churches by creating a safe, fun, and gospel-centered environment where kids can grow in their faith and experience the joy of following Christ.

The Role: Actor
Actors perform as stage characters that carry the camp theme forward. You’ll bring energy, humor, and heart to the platform, helping kids engage with the story and, ultimately, with the gospel. In addition to performing, you’ll lead track times (specialized activities like arts, sports, or skills) and also serve as a Bible Study Leader or Track Time Leader, depending on the team’s needs. Through both the stage and small-group moments, you’ll point kids to Jesus with creativity and intentionality.

What You’ll Do:

Perform on stage as a character in daily productions and camp-wide programming.

Use drama, humor, and storytelling to help kids connect with the gospel.

Lead track times that connect with kids’ interests and encourage community.

Serve either as a Bible Study Leader (teaching daily lessons for a small group of kids) or as a Track Time Leader.

Build relationships with campers throughout the day, encouraging their faith.

Support churches by contributing to a Christ-centered camp experience.

Be adaptable and ready to serve both on stage and off.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old by the start of camp.

Active, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Desire and ability to invest spiritually in kids.

Strong stage presence with skills in acting, storytelling, or performance.

High energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to engage kids both on stage and in small groups.

Willingness to work hard in a team environment and step into various camp roles.

No prior camp experience required—training is provided.

Details:

Paid bi-weekly (with housing, meals, and travel covered during camp).

Summer commitment: late May through late July.
