Position Purpose:
The University of Colorado Department of Psychiatry is launching a new learning management system, the "CU Psych Learning" platform. As part of this effort, we are seeking a business student to explore the potential opportunities for this platform by leading the development of a comprehensive business plan.
Job Description:
Student will be responsible for:
- Conducting market research to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to assess business needs, identify opportunities, and collect requirements.
- Developing a robust business plan, including outlining objectives, strategies, forecasts, and performance metrics for this initiative.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a current student taking at least6 credit hours (undergraduate) or 3 credit hours (graduate) in a business development related major.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Previous exposure to business plan development or consulting projects.
- Solid written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally via telephone and email.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, flexible, organized, willing to learn, possess the ability to multi-task, and have a professional demeanor.
- Proactive, self-starter
Length of Employment:
Throughout Fall Semester of 2025.

The Student Assistant commits to showing up for work diligently and punctually, honesty, performing assigned tasks, following directions, taking initiative, reliability, confidentiality, checking work for thoroughness and accuracy with attention to detail, and interest in learning new skills, especially mandatory computer skills. Ideal candidates will be willing to work up to a maximum of 25 hours weekly.
Pay Range:
$19.00 per hour
