Immersive Video Editing Intern

Summary:

In this internship, you will work directly with the Cosm Immersive team as you get hands-on professional experience in the immersive technology industry. You will work closely with our entire production staff that includes members from disciplines such as post-production, production managing, engineering, venue programming, etc. Here you will learn how to create exciting sports and entertainment highlights for our venues and learn everything it takes to put on an immersive production.

Responsibilities:

  • Tell visual stories through creative editing and producing.
  • Sync and log footage in Premiere Pro.
  • Generate edit string-outs, scene cutdowns, and digital clips for sports and entertainment content.
  • Assist in the media-management of live sports content.
  • Help deliver Cosm worthy standard content to all clients.
  • Learn to edit for both dome projection and VR delivery.
  • Coordinate with post-production staff to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior at the start of the program.
  • Available to work in a Cosm Office (hybrid).
  • Available to work 20 hours per week during the defined Intern period.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in immersive technology and content.
  • Experience in the video editing software Premiere Pro.
  • Curious, excited to create, relentlessly resourceful, and eager to learn.
  • Passionate team player.
