The Santa Ana Water Board’s Groundwater Protection Branch has an opening for a Senior Engineering Geologist who will serve as the Underground Storage Tank and Site Cleanup Program Section Supervisor. This position is located at 3737 Main Street, Suite 500, Riverside, CA in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.

Duties:

This is a supervisor position. The Senior Engineering Geologist (Supervisory) uses geologic and engineering expertise and management skills to perform the supervisory duties of the Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Site Cleanup Program (SCP) section. Daily proficient utilization of office equipment and the Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
