Photography Assistant

Job Summary: 

We’re currently looking for Photography Assistants to join our photography team! (this is not a photographer position). The job starts in mid August 2025. A mandatory training is in August 2025. A contract will need to be signed.

This is a seasonal, part-time contract opportunity, ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income. The role requires availability to work 3 to 4 consecutive months, with 2 months off in the winter and 2 to 3 months off in the summer. Enjoy the benefit of no weekend or holiday commitments. Please note, this position is not suitable for individuals seeking year-round work. Please do not apply if you are not seeking contract work, as we are specifically looking for contract workers.

We service  Dallas, Garland, Rowlett, Rockwall, Wylie, Sachse and surrounding communities.

This is a great opportunity for substitute teachers, aftercare teachers, professional babysitters, empty nesters, stay-at-home moms, photography interns, and anyone who enjoys working with kids. We start our day at 7:00a/7:30a (depending on the school) and we usually finish by noon. Starting at $20 per hour.

Requirements/Qualifications:

· Experience working with children/infants up to age 5.

· Organized, have great communication skills and enjoys working with children.

· Reliable, punctual, energetic and patient

· Able to lift up to 40 lbs. (able to lift equipment and children)

· Able to kneel/sit on the floor and get up and down quickly to pose children.

· Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation

· Background check required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up photography equipment and lighting for shoots.
  • Edit and manipulate photos using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to enhance quality (only if needed).
  • Manage files and be organized during the photoshoot.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements.
  • Provide care and supervision for infants and children during photo sessions.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
