Junior Dance Instructor
As a Junior Dance Instructor, you'll gain valuable experience assisting our senior instructors while igniting a love for dance in our community. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting senior instructors with lesson planning and classroom management.
- Leading age-appropriate warm-ups, drills, and basic combinations.
- Providing positive feedback and encouragement to students.
- Contributing to a fun and inclusive learning environment.
- Learning from experienced instructors and growing your teaching skills.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and currently enrolled in an undergraduate dance/performing arts program (preferred but not required).
- Strong dance foundation in one or more styles offered by the studio.
- Experience working with children (volunteer, babysitting, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm for dance and a desire to learn and grow as an instructor.
- Ability to take direction and follow established curriculum.
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to complete)
