Prospect and Donor Researcher

Prospect and Donor Researcher (Contract)

Historic, visionary institution seeks a contract position to support its donor qualification and prospecting activities. This is a temporary position for 60 hours total to be completed between August 1, 2025 through August 31, 2025. A stipend of $1,500 will be provided. Hours may be completed remotely or onsite at the JFK Presidential Library. Onsite hours are not required. Additional hours and/or an extension of the contract term may be determined upon mutual agreement and at the Foundation’s discretion.

Project Scope:

  • Evaluate wealth screening data points to ensure accurate ratings and assessments of prospect and donor capacity
  • Identify and categorize donors within philanthropic priority and interest areas
  • Review data and donor information to ensure highest possible quality and accuracy; complete updates as requested.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Prior experience conducting similar work in a nonprofit workplace with demonstrated success is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred; prior work or internship experience can supplement this requirement
  • Superior analytical and research skills
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Proficiency in using donor databases and research tools
  • Familiarity with wealth screening software

Additional Information

The JFK Library has free parking and is accessible by public transportation on the MBTA Red Line. There is a café on-site open from 10am to 5pm, as well as an employee lunch room. Dress code is business casual.
