Media Events Intern (Fall 2025)

SUMMARY: 

ARRAY is in pursuit of an intern who loves cinema, community cultivation and coordination of events!  Based at our Los Angeles campus in Historic Filipinotown, our Media Events Intern will be part of an in-house Programming Team that curates dynamic film-centric and storytelling experiences. Dedicated to showcasing inclusive cinema, the Programming Team creates efficiencies across the entire organization related to media capture, guest/audience services, event ticketing, logistics, environmental design and overall usage of space at our creative campus. If you are familiar with the term "elbow grease" and know how to apply that to a work environment then ARRAY might be the place for you.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Included but not limited to)

  • Support Programming Team with logistics for the Fall 2025 cinema and conversation series.
  • Capture and edit short-form content (photo/video) from weekly programming events for social, archival and internal use.
  • Organize, label, and manage digital assets for ARRAY programming events.
  • Create assets that highlight programming initiatives, sponsor spotlights and key campus activities.
  • Track internal social media posts, as well as external social media and press mentions.
  • Conduct research related to potential film screenings such as the collection of film stills, clips, talent bios and potential community partners that align with ARRAY’s mission.
  • Assist with theater and venue operations including pre-event setup and post-event breakdown.
  • Track RSVPs and ticketing inventory using internal platforms; assist with guest list management.
  • Learn about and support the creation of programming-related marketing, community curation, social outreach and educational initiatives.
  • Must have availability to work Fridays and Saturdays (evenings sometimes included) during scheduled programming events.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must be a college undergraduate or graduate student with general film knowledge and a passion for inclusive storytelling. Basic computer skills are a must. Experience using Canva and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) on Mac and PC is expected. Familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or CapCut is preferred. Strong written and visual communication skills are essential. Reliable transportation and availability for some evening/weekend events are required. Experience capturing event photos/video or managing digital files is a plus.
