Internship, Laboratory Sample Handler

Primera Analytical Solutions Corp, founded in 2002, is a contract research organization (CRO) that provides analytical, bioanalytical, formulation development, and clinical trial services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and other life science industries. We have an excellent tracking record with FDA inspections and successfully accomplished the analytical work for many ANDAs and NDAs.

Responsibilities:

• Log in and log out laboratory samples.
• Carry, lift, and handle inbound and outbound shipments.
• Work with the sample team to handle samples and lab materials.
• Assure adherence to acceptable cGMP/GLP practices.
• Keep the supervisor and the business units informed of sample testing or shipment issues. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous laboratory or pharmaceutical experiences preferred.
• An understanding of cGMP/GLP requirements is preferred.
• Attentive to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, able to work in a cross-functional environment.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
