Campus Philly Social Media Intern 2025
Looking to develop and showcase your social media skills? Campus Philly is seeking Philly-based social media intern to join our remote-first team for a 15-week period, beginning at the end of July and ending in September 2025.
We are Seeking candidates that are current college students or recent graduates in the Philadelphia region. Juniors and seniors in college are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Social Media Intern will work closely with the Specialist of Content and Design, and the Senior Director of Content Strategy, and will focus on all aspects of content marketing and content creation to amplify Campus Philly's programming & initiatives, and promote our annual CollegeFest weekend. The role also includes supporting the management of Campus Philly’s Instagram and TikTok, creating engaging video content for our social platforms, and collaborating with local student influencers and businesses.
Here are some of the projects our Social Media Intern will work on this summer:
- Help manage and maintain Campus Philly’s social media platforms, reporting popularity and engagement on a weekly basis, and providing recommendations and ideas for future content or events
- Create 1-2 reels per week for our Instagram promoting CollegeFest, places to go, things to do, hidden gems in the city, deals for students, etc.
- Produce 2-3 static posts per week to increase brand awareness and engagement, including out weekly "Things to do in Philly" post
- Post to stories and interact with audience by creating engaging stories and re-posting events, things to do, etc.
- Identify and collaborate with Philly-based influencers and creators who are college students or recent graduates
- Launch social campaigns from start to finish on Campus Philly’s social media platforms that get other students excited to live, study, and work in Philly; and that increase our following and engagement on the platform
- Assist in managing and responding to our Direct Messages on both Instagram and TikTok, engaging with students and answering questions on a weekly basis
- Attend Campus Philly events, as needed, to capture and create content to share on Instagram and TikTok
- Capture content for museums and historical sites in Philadelphia to promote our annual CollegeFest through video reels and posts
Over this 15-week period, you will work closely with all members of the Campus Philly team, gaining additional experience in event planning and marketing, relationship management, strategic content creation, and more.

Requirements:
- Must be local to the Philly-area and able to travel throughout the Philadelphia region when need be for filming content, or to attend events and in-person meetups
- Has significant experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok
- Has experience working with video editing platforms such as CapCut, Videoleap, etc.
- Has knowledge on trends and stays informed on the latest updates on social media
- Has an interest in content marketing and content production
- Has a strong knowledge about Campus Philly, our brand, and our voice
- Is active on Instagram and TikTok, and has a strong on-campus following
- Is detail-oriented, with an appreciation for grammar, spelling, and proofreading
- Is analytical, curious, and proactive
- Has strong interpersonal skills and is a fast and adaptive learner
- Has a passion for sharing their experience in Philadelphia through social media
- Is able to perform this role remotely by having access to a functional phone, computer, and Internet service for Microsoft Teams meetings with the Campus Philly team

This role will require ten (10) hours per week, and will take place over a 15-week period beginning in July 2025. The role will pay $15 per hour.
