Assistant Dance and Stem Instructor
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated college student to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a group of kids and be open to do activities like run a group dance class for kids, while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The Child Care Teacher will work closely with children of age group between 3-5 and 5-8 years.
This a part time role and we need the person to be available Mon- Fri from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Engage children in interactive activities that promote learning and social skills.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
Requirements
- This is an entry level position, high school graduation is needed with an attitude to run fun group dance classes with kids.
- Previous experience in daycare or child care settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children.
- A genuine passion for educating and nurturing young minds.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.56 - $25.96 per hour
