AECOM

Civil Enigineering Intern

May - August 2019 • Cleveland, OH

What I liked

The real life engineering experience that you cannot get within a classroom and getting to work many different project with engineering professionals.

What I wish was different

The internship was awesome in every aspect, there's nothing that I wish was different.

Advice

If youre unsure about an internship, take it anyways. Internships are for learning and gaining experience. Its just as important to know what you dislike as it is knowing what you do like. Do not be afraid to take on tasks that you think is too much for you. The more you can learn and the more experience you have, the better off you are for when you graduate and start looking for full time jobs. Be personable, make friendships within the company, and build your network. Be comfortable with being uncomfortable!
