“The laboratory I work in is called Orthopaedic Stem Cell Laboratory and is relatively small and mostly composed of internationals. We have people from Russia, Germany, Israel, and I am myself from Serbia. This diversity is great because it allows us to learn about each other's cultures and gain a better understanding of how it is to work in a multicultural environment. Another positive aspect of working in a small laboratory is that you literally get "thrown into the fire" when needed, and therefore have the chance to learn a lot of hands-on things. This not only gives you experience, but also allows you to earn respect and trust of your co-workers.”
